Je veux que...

... je parle bien le francais, je survive la lycée, tu lises mon blog, je réussisse à la vie.

These are my goals. They are few, meaning that it is way easier to achieve all of them. I'm Niki, a high school student from the Midwestern United States. I like French, computers, and my tablet. I obsess over Harry Potter and Pokémon. I dislike phoniness, even though I can see so much of it in myself. I swim competitively, and as of now have three practices and one meet until the end of track. I have friends that are at least half as crazy as me. I love graphic design, and adore Google's new search results page. Heck, I just adore Google, and think it would be cool to work there one day.

I sound like a geeky Holden Caulfield, I realize, but maybe that's because he's one of the characters with which I've resonated most in the books we've read this year. I feel like Hermione Granger sometimes, as well, with my course load and test-panic.

I really want to keep up with this, with at least on post per week. I'll try to spend time in history, or some other class that I detest, drafting each week's post. I hope I can give you some insight into what the hell life for someone like me is like.

People who know me in real life will know that I do not talk like this at all. Screw it, I like the way this blog is sounding. The written word is 10 times as powerful as the spoken one.
